The pseudonymised chat

The request is in front of you and the prompt would be quick to write – but the text contains a name, an address and a customer number. The pseudonymised chat is the mode for exactly that case: you write the prompt the way the case gives it to you, and the personal details are replaced before they are passed on.
What happens in the background
Before your prompt goes to the answering model, a small model of its own detects the personal details in it and puts placeholders in their place: a name becomes [PERSON_1], an address [ADDRESS_1], a customer number [ID_1]. The answering model therefore only ever sees the placeholder, never the value.
For you nothing changes about readability: in the thread each detected detail is shown with its placeholder, and you read the answer with the real values again. You do not have to strip anything out by hand and put it back afterwards.
What the mode gives up
The pseudonymised chat deliberately has fewer options than an ordinary chat: no expert, no selected knowledge from a space, no web search. That is visible in the input row, where the corresponding tools are missing.
You open it from the left sidebar, as an entry of its own right below “New chat”. What is stored in the thread is the pseudonymised text.
What it does not do
Pseudonymised is not anonymous: the details are replaced, not deleted, and you still see them. And automatic detection is never complete – it can miss a detail, especially when the text is phrased unusually.
So the rule stands: what must not leave at all does not belong in the input field here either. The mode takes the work off you, not the responsibility.
