Document comparison
Feature on video · Length 0:30
Two versions of the same master agreement, and nobody wants to read both in full to understand what changed. Document comparison is built for exactly that case – it runs in the normal chat, without an extra tool.
What the comparison does
Document comparison puts two versions of the same document side by side and names every change: added, removed, changed and struck-through passages, plus newly included images or handwriting. It is meant for contracts, quotes and templates that exist in several states.
Both uploaded originals stay untouched. The result is an explanation in the chat plus an attached comparison PDF in which every change is spelled out word for word.
How it works
You open a new chat and attach both versions as PDFs; a chip appears above the input field for each file. Then you ask what changed. If it is not clear which version is the newer one, the AI asks first and you pick the file.
While the comparison runs, a status line sits above the answer. After that you read the explanation and open the comparison PDF if you need it.
Why a tool of its own
The AI does not compare the texts in passing, it calls document comparison for the job. That is deliberate: reading freely would miss changes, especially in long versions phrased similarly.
Two limits come with it: both versions have to be PDFs, and the comparison is available in the normal chat – not in a chat with experts and not in the pseudonymised chat.
