Expert rounds

A framework agreement with a major account touches the terms in sales, contract law and the margin in finance. Until now that means three chats, three threads and an email chain meant to hold it all together. An expert round is the shared room for exactly that case.

What an expert round is

An expert round is a moderated multi-person chat around one or more AI experts. Whoever creates it puts it together: “Add experts” brings in the right experts, “Invite person” the colleagues from your organisation. The question is asked once, and the experts answer in the same thread.

As long as no expert has been added, skai points that out. If none of the added experts fits a question, the round says so too – then the creator adds a suitable one.

Invite, share, leave

If an invited person cannot normally use one of the experts, skai asks whether access should be extended for this round. The extension applies only here, general access stays unchanged.

Via “Add files” you share documents with the round; they become the shared basis all experts refer to. A file can be removed again – after that no expert draws on it for new answers, while existing source references keep showing it with a note. When someone leaves the round their contributions remain; the activity log records who joined and which files were added or deleted.

Keeping up without keeping it open

Anyone added to an expert round receives an email. For day-to-day work the unread marker is enough after that: a round with new, unseen activity is marked as such, so you find the rounds with news without being buried in notifications.

While the experts are working, the status shows what is happening – whether an expert is thinking or waiting for an approval.
